Welcome to NetViews ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms govern your use of the NetViews app and the website at www.netviews.app. By installing or using the app, or by purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms.

License. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your Mac(s) for which you have purchased a Lite, Standard, or Pro license.

Restrictions. You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or share the app; reverse engineer or decompile except as permitted by law; or remove proprietary notices.

Updates. We may provide updates or fixes, but we are not obligated to support all versions indefinitely.

One-time fee per major version, unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed via the platform you choose (e.g., Mac App Store) or our direct provider (Lemon Squeezy). You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

No pro-rata credits: Upgrading from Lite, Standard, or Pro requires a separate purchase.

App Store purchases: If you purchased via the Mac App Store, refunds are governed by Apple's own policies and processes. Please use Apple's refund mechanism for such requests.

Direct purchases (outside the App Store) - NetViews Pro:

• Window: Request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
• Eligibility: We'll approve refunds for (a) accidental duplicate purchases; (b) technical issues that prevent basic advertised functionality where we can't provide a fix or reasonable workaround in a timely manner; or (c) general dissatisfaction during evaluation.
• How: Using our contact form with your order email, approximate date, and (if relevant) a brief issue description.
• After a refund: Your license is deactivated; please uninstall or stop using Pro features.
• Abuse prevention: We may decline refunds in cases of suspected fraud or repeated misuse. Limit one refund per customer per major version.

Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that may apply in your jurisdiction.

No data collection in the app. NetViews does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data or telemetry on our servers. All scans, logs, and settings remain on your device.

• Local storage only: Configuration, history, and logs are saved locally on your Mac.
• No analytics or trackers in the app: The app includes no analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking beacons.
• Support: If you email us, any information you provide is used solely to assist you and is not sold or shared.

This website uses Matomo (a privacy-focused analytics platform) to understand visitor behavior and improve user experience. When you consent to cookies:

• Data collected: Pages visited, time on site, browser type, approximate location (city/country level), and referral source.
• Cookies used: Matomo sets cookies to track returning visitors across sessions. Cookies expire after 13 months of inactivity.
• IP anonymization: Your IP address is anonymized (last 2 bytes removed) before storage.
• No third-party sharing: Analytics data is stored on our own servers and never sold or shared with third parties.
• Your choice: You can decline cookies via the consent banner. Declining still allows basic visit tracking but without cookies (no cross-session tracking).
• Opt-out: Contact us to request deletion of your analytics data.

The app is designed to operate locally. You are responsible for securing your device and any data you generate with the app.

We may suspend or terminate your license for material breach. Upon termination, stop using the app and delete all copies. Sections that should reasonably survive (disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.

"As is". The app is provided without warranties of any kind.

No guarantee. We do not warrant the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or meet your needs.

Liability cap. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability related to the app or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

No consequential damages. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits or data).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA. You agree to exclusive jurisdiction in Massachusetts courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced (e.g., release notes). Continued use after changes means acceptance.
